General description
Immunoturbidimetry for the quantitation of dextran in cane juices, syrups, cane molasses, raw sugars and so on. This kit uses a monoclonal antibody to dextran to bind dextran. The assay is performed in a cell needs to be transparent on all four sides and not one side that is frosted. The combination of dextran and antibody is read between 400 nm and 600 nm, 90° detection on a turbidimeter. The turbidity difference is proportional to the concentration of dextran present in the cell.
